Job summary

The Ned Doha, located in Doha, Qatar, is seeking an energetic Engineering Coordinator to join our esteemed team. Situated in a landmark luxury hotel, the role focuses on coordinating office and engineering operations to ensure smooth guest experiences and impeccable sustainability standards.

You will support the engineering team with reports, procurement, and compliance, while fostering collaboration with other departments in a fast-paced luxury hospitality setting.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in an engineering or facilities coordinator role.
• Strong knowledge of building systems such as HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Excellent organizational, written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and sustainability practices in hospitality.

Responsibilities

• Manage and autonomously handle the DOE and PR diary.
• Prepare, compile, edit and issue reports and presentations.
• Process invoices in a timely manner and obtain approvals.
• Arrange meetings and conferences, including minute taking.
• Transcribe reports, memos, telexes and other correspondence as required.
• Coordinate daily office activities and maintain efficient communications.
• Update hotel news and internal bulletin boards.
• Monitor hotel systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical) and report issues.
• Assist with procurement of engineering supplies and inventory control.
• Provide admin support for engineering-related projects and liaise with contractors.
