A leading energy consultancy seeks an experienced LNG Commercial/Economic Analyst in Qatar. This role involves detailed economic and commercial analysis of short-term LNG opportunities to support pricing decisions and shareholder value optimization. Candidates should have at least 8 years of experience in analytical roles within hydrocarbons and a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field. The position offers a competitive salary and is based in Qatar.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional experience in analytical or marketing roles within hydrocarbons.
• Minimum 2 years of exposure to LNG industry fundamentals.
• Strong background in economic evaluation, financial modelling, and reporting.
• Working knowledge of LNG supply/demand dynamics and energy markets.
• Experience presenting to senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Perform economic analysis of LNG spot sales and diversion opportunities.
• Assess minimum pricing and venture economic impacts under varying market scenarios.
• Support evaluation of proposed pricing or fiscal agreement changes.
• Conduct market trends analysis to support marketing strategy.
