Job summary

Al-Futtaim Automotive in Qatar is seeking a Linde Material Handling Equipment Technician to perform mechanical and electrical repairs, diagnostics, servicing and maintenance on Linde forklifts, both diesel and electric, in line with dealer standards.

You will work within the Domasco Commercial Vehicle Division, supporting on-site and workshop tasks, reading schematics, using diagnostic software, and delivering high-quality first-time fixes while upholding safety and service quality.

Qualifications

Diploma or ITI in Electrical, Mechanical, Automotive or related technical discipline.
Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience servicing, maintaining and repairing Linde Material Handling Equipment including diesel or electric forklifts.
Strong knowledge of workshop service manuals, diagnostic software, technical bulletins and repair procedures.

Responsibilities

Carry out mechanical and electrical repairs, troubleshooting, diagnostics, servicing and maintenance on Linde Equipment.
Diagnose faults accurately and propose effective repair solutions to ensure first-time fix.
Use Linde diagnostic software, workshop tools, manuals and service bulletins effectively.
Read and interpret manuals, schematics, electrical and hydraulic diagrams and service instructions.
Perform service and repair in workshop and at customer sites across Qatar as required.
Prepare clear Field Service Reports after each job and obtain customer acknowledgement.
Maintain high standards of workmanship, safety, and compliance with procedures and standards.
Coordinate with Service Manager and team to complete jobs within standard repair times.
