Job summary

Al-Futtaim Automotive in Doha, Qatar, seeks an experienced Technician to perform dealership service on customer vehicles, ensuring first-time repair accuracy, safety, and adherence to company standards.

You will diagnose issues, use special tools, read wiring diagrams, and maintain tools; must have ITI/Diploma in Automobile Engineering and 2–3 years of dealer experience; bronze/silver/gold certifications preferred.

Qualifications

• ITI/Diploma in Automobile Engineering is required.
• 2–3 years total experience as Technician in automotive dealership.
• Bronze/Silver/Gold certifications corresponding to Technician levels.
• Knowledge of automotive parts and basic PC skills.

Responsibilities

• Prompt execution of service repairs on the repair order as per schedule.
• Report additional job required in car with cost estimate.
• Maintain Check Sheets and Log sheets.
• Upkeep tools and equipment in the individual bay as per company standards.
• Proper handling of special tools.
• Proper housekeeping of the work bay.
• Ensure zero repeat repairs.
• Proper diagnosis and troubleshooting.
• Conduct final inspection as per the SOP.
• Deliver the required efficiency and productivity as per targets.
• Ensure prompt punch in/out to capture accurate booking hours.
• Follow SOPs in technician role and report incidents to supervisor.
