Job summary

China Railway Construction Corporation Limited - Qatar Branch seeks a Diesel Technician to analyze and repair diesel vehicles, perform diagnostic tests, and maintain service records. The role requires inspecting engines, transmissions, lighting, and safety systems, with hands-on maintenance and client interaction in a busy workshop.

The ideal candidate will have mechanical/automotive training, relevant diesel qualifications, a valid Qatar license, and strong IT/analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Level- or diploma-level mechanical/automotive training required.
• Ase Diesel qualification helpful.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Strong math and science aptitude.
• Excellent IT and analytical abilities.
• Physical fitness to lift up to 150 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Run diagnostic examinations on vehicles.
• Examine diagnostic test results.
• Replace engines, steering devices, transmissions, brakes.
• Inspect lighting systems.
• Test-drive vehicles to evaluate performance.
• Perform preventative maintenance on service vehicles.
• Maintain thorough records of serviced vehicles.
• Keep an organized workshop and inventory.
