Qualifications

• 8–10 years of experience in lifting and rigging engineering.
• Experience with lift planning, load calculations, equipment selection, and supervision.
• Engineering degree; lifting/rigging certifications preferred.
• Experience in industrial, construction, or engineering environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed lifting and rigging plans for heavy and critical lifting operations.
• Perform load calculations and assess crane capacity, lifting radius, rigging configuration, and equipment suitability.
• Select appropriate cranes, slings, shackles, spreader beams, lifting beams, and other rigging accessories.
• Review lifting drawings, method statements, risk assessments, and technical documentation before operations begin.
• Supervise lifting and rigging activities to ensure compliance with approved lift plans and applicable safety requirements.
• Inspect lifting equipment and accessories and verify valid certification before use.
• Coordinate with crane operators, riggers, supervisors, safety personnel, and site engineering teams during lifting activities.
