Job summary

Qatar Airways in Doha is seeking a Licensed Aircraft Engineer (B2) to support light maintenance within Technical Engineering. You will deliver maintenance tasks, review procedures, and ensure safety and reliability for flight operations.

The role requires a Bachelor’s or Diploma in aircraft maintenance, Qatar Airways certifications, and 4+ years of related experience; leadership duties include supervising mechanics and guiding technicians.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent with minimum 4 years of job-related experience.
Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance or Trade or vocational qualification or Degree (B.Eng., BSc) or equivalent in aircraft engineering.
Holds a minimum 1 full Qatar Airways main fleet ICAO/QCAA certification, is a must.
For Internal applicant: minimum of 1 year job-related aircraft certifying experience as EN.01.

Responsibilities

Plan assigned activities in an effective and efficient manner, operate equipment or use tooling relative to tasks within procedures.
Review work procedures and standards; propose improvements where needed.
Responsible for final release of work and meeting standards and dispatch reliability.
Ensure delivery standards of QR/customer products and check activities are met.
Provide satisfactory support to internal and external customers.
Implement solutions to technical problems within your authority range.
