Job summary

Qatar Airways is recruiting a Licensed Aircraft Engineer (B1) for Line Maintenance – Technical Engineering in Doha. You will deliver maintenance activities supporting flight operations, supervise a team, review procedures, and release work to meet safety and reliability standards.

Essential qualifications include ICAO/QCAA license and a Diploma or BEng/BSc in aircraft maintenance or engineering, with 4–5+ years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• High School Qualification / Diploma or Equivalent with Minimum 5 years of job-related experience OR Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent with Minimum 4 years of job-related experience
• Essential Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance or vocation aircraft maintenance qualification or Degree (B. Eng., BSc) or equivalent in aircraft engineering
• Must hold minimum 1 full QR main fleet ICAO/QCAA license and approvals

Responsibilities

• Review of work procedures and standards, propose improvements where procedures are not appropriate to ensure work processes are effective
• Final release of work accomplished and ensure tasks meet company/customer standards and dispatch reliability
• Supervise a team of mechanics or technical assistants and provide guidance and on-the-job training
