American School of Doha seeks a Learning Support Teacher for Upper Elementary to implement MTSS, deliver differentiated instruction, monitor progress, and collaborate with families and specialists to promote student success and wellbeing.

The role involves case management for identified students, coordinating with classroom teachers, and contributing to a culture of data-driven decision-making in an international school setting. Strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field.
• Certification in Special Education or equivalent.
• Teaching certification required.
• Minimum of 3 years of school-based experience; international experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and monitor data on student development and progress to inform teaching and adjust interventions.
• Act as Case Manager for students with identified needs and develop goals.
• Actively participate in PLCs to enhance instructional practices.
• Collaborate with families to ensure they are informed partners in the learning process.
• Deliver targeted Tier 3 support through small-group or 1:1 instruction.
• Develop and monitor Accommodation Plans and ISPs with teachers, parents, and specialists.
