Job summary

The Ned Doha is seeking an experienced Learning & Development leader to oversee all HR practices with a focus on training program development and implementation. You will partner with management to elevate skills, drive a culture of continuous learning, and shape employee growth across all levels.

Ideal candidates bring luxury hospitality experience, outstanding organisational skills, and a strategic mindset to align learning with business goals in a fast-paced environment.

• Proven experience within luxury hospitality or high-end restaurants.
• A strong aesthetic sensibility with a passion for storytelling and brand building.
• Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple projects with precision and discretion.
• Commercially minded, with a keen understanding of market trends and guest expectations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee learning and development programs, including workshops, seminars, and e-learning.
• Promote a positive work environment and organizational culture through training and development.
• Collaborate with Director of HR and senior management to align HR strategies with business goals.
• Develop and manage L&D budgets and ensure cost-effective initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with HR policies and legal requirements; conduct audits and implement improvements.

The Role

This position is responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources practices and processes, focusing on the development and implementation of training programs to improve employee skills and knowledge. This role involves working closely with management and employees to foster a culture of continuous learning and professional grow

Learning & Development

• Assess training needs through surveys, interviews, focus groups, and communication with managers.
• Develop, implement, and monitor training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
• Organise and coordinate learning and development activities, including workshops, seminars, and e-learning.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make necessary adjustments.
• Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development.

Employee Relations

• Promote a positive work environment and organizational culture.

Strategic Planning

• Collaborate with Director of HR and senior management to understand business goals and develop HR strategies to support them.
• Analyze HR metrics and provide insights to improve HR processes and employee satisfaction.

Develop and manage L&D budgets and ensure cost-effective initiatives

Compliance and Risk Management

• Ensure compliance with all HR policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
• Conduct regular audits of HR practices and recommend improvements.
• Manage risk by implementing effective HR & L&D practices and policies.
