Job summary

Greenland Group in Qatar is seeking a full-time workshop supervisor to oversee daily activities, coordinate staffing, and ensure quality in repairs, fabrication, and maintenance. Experience in mechanical maintenance and workshop supervision is required, with emphasis on problem-solving and record-keeping.

Qualifications

5 years experience in a workshop supervision or maintenance role.
Strong knowledge of mechanical maintenance and repair procedures.
Familiarity with welding equipment and workshop safety standards.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate daily workshop activities and manpower.
Plan and assign jobs to technicians, mechanics, fabricators, and other workshop staff.
Monitor repair, maintenance, fabrication, and servicing work to ensure quality and timely completion.
Inspect completed work and ensure compliance with technical specifications and company standards.
Monitor the use of workshop tools, machinery, equipment, and materials.
Identify mechanical or technical problems and coordinate corrective actions.
Maintain records of workshop activities, repairs, spare parts, and equipment usage.
Ensure proper housekeeping, workplace safety, and safe operation of workshop equipment.
Coordinate with management and other departments regarding workshop requirements and work progress.
Train, guide, and supervise workshop personnel to improve productivity and work quality.
