Job summary

Gray Mackenzie Engineering Services in Qatar is seeking a highly experienced Lead Engineer to head our Valve Testing & Calibration division and drive operational excellence and business growth.

You will lead valve testing and overhauling, ensure compliance with API, ASME, ISO, and client specs, manage workshop performance, and mentor a high-performance technical team to win new business in the Gulf region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering is mandatory.
• Minimum 15 years of Oil & Gas experience.
• Strong background in valve testing and workshop operations.
• Middle East experience preferred; Qatar experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead testing and overhauling of valves and manage workshop operations.
• Ensure compliance with API, ASME, ISO, and client specifications.
• Identify new business opportunities in Qatar's oil and gas sector.
• Mentor a high-performance technical team and drive growth in shutdowns and long-term service contracts.
