TAT IT Technolgies in Doha seeks a Manager – Underwriting (Property & Casualty) to lead and develop a team responsible for servicing corporate accounts across Property, Engineering, Casualty and General Accident lines. Qualifications

• Engineering degree or postgraduate in Science, Finance or Management.
• Professional certification ACII OR Diploma in Insurance OR FIII or AIII/CII.
• Minimum 8 years’ experience in insurance underwriting Property, Engineering, Casualty and General Accident lines of corporate accounts.

Responsibilities

• Servicing corporate customers for Property, Engineering, Casualty and General Accident insurance products.
• Underwrite good quality risks within authority, arrange facultative reinsurance as required, review policy/endorsement wordings and contracts, ensure technical accuracy of transactions.
• Scrutinize underwriting proposals for Property and Commercial risks; assess risks and release quotations.
• Negotiate premium and terms with clients and brokers; achieve department objectives.
• Lead underwriting officers in guidance and supervision; ensure compliance with guidelines and audit requirements.
