Job summary

Sharq Insuranceشرق للتأمين in Doha seeks an experienced Underwriting Officer to support the Manager General Underwriting in achieving renewal and new business targets for corporate and retail clients. The role involves policy verification, premium calculations, endorsements, and ensuring compliance with regulations.

You will collect and analyse financial/contextual information for client requests, review proposals, liaise with brokers and clients, and prepare periodic reports using Premia.

Qualifications

• 4+ years’ experience in insurance industry.
• Experience in SME underwriting or general underwriting processes.

Responsibilities

• Support Manager General Underwriting to achieve renewal and new business targets for corporate and retail clients.
• Perform policy issuance, endorsements, renewals, and related admin tasks in line with regulations.
• Provide guidance to customers and stakeholders on underwriting terms and procedures.
