Job summary

Mekdam Technical Services in Qatar seeks a Senior Planning Engineer to oversee maintenance planning and resources for daily and shutdown work. You will guide senior planners, coordinate turnarounds, and ensure critical spares and vendor support align with plant needs.

The role requires a strong background in planning principles, extensive Oil & Gas experience, and excellent communication in diverse teams. Arabic language skills are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree and/or certification as Planning Engineer.
• Minimum 10 years of planning experience in Oil & Gas.
• Excellent written and oral communication; Arabic a plus.
• Strong planning principles and techniques.
• Proven interpersonal skills in diverse environments.

Responsibilities

• Supervise activities of Senior Planners and cross-functional teams.
• Plan and coordinate maintenance programs ensuring resources are available.
• Prepare budgets and ensure spare parts for major equipment are available.
• Lead major equipment turnarounds and outage planning.
• Coordinate with vendors and OEMs for problem resolution.
• Prepare technical documentation and reports.
