Job summary

Airswift is seeking an Engineering Lead (Piping) in Qatar to oversee piping and layout engineering for an Ethane recovery project, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety objectives throughout FEED and EPC phases.

The role requires 8 years in engineering, including 4 years in oil & gas and at least 1 year in supervisory responsibilities, with proficiency in 3D modelling (PDS/SP3D) and knowledge of FEED/EPC design execution.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
8 years in engineering roles, including 4 years in the oil & gas industry.
1 year supervisory or oversight of contractor sub-contractors/service/vendor personnel.
Basic knowledge of 3D modelling software (PDS/SP3D).

Responsibilities

Lead the piping engineering discipline skill pool and allocate technical authorities.
Approve and endorse process engineering designs through delegated authorities.
Review studies and designs for technical suitability and safety.
Develop and sustain technical competencies through capability building and knowledge transfer.
Provide input to project execution strategies ensuring alignment with requirements.
Plan and coordinate piping and layout engineers for timely delivery.
Support standards and technical assurance across projects.
Endorse deviations, waivers and variations within authority limits.
