BAE Systems Strategic Aerospace Services WLL in Doha, Qatar, seeks a General Engineering Technical Instructor - Mechanical to deliver and assess General Engineering training to cadets at the Qatar Technical Institute. The role covers Mechanical, Electrical and Armaments trades, with the aim of helping learners attain externally accredited qualifications.

Qualifications

Level 4 Qualification in Teaching & learning (inc. 90 hrs teaching practice)
5yrs training delivery experience outside QTTC (or 2yrs within) delivering: Military trade training
Type training
FE College(Engineering or Science)
TAQAQualified
Fluent spoken Arabic would be an advantage

Responsibilities

Deliver General Engineering training to QAF cadets within the QTI, predominantly in the classroom but also in practical training areas.
Deliver modules using presentation media and training devices and assets; instructor must be proficient in all methods.
Assess learner performance in accordance with the module assessment strategy; assessments may occur within or outside trade boundaries to allow independence.
Contribute to the ongoing improvement of the QTI by proposing ideas and embracing suggestions from others.
