Job summary

BAE Systems Qatar Technical Institute in Doha seeks an experienced Technical Instructor/Assessor to deliver General Engineering training to cadets and support mechanical, electrical and armament trades. You will assess learner performance and contribute to achieving externally accredited qualifications.

The role requires teaching qualifications (Teaching & Learning Level 4, TAQA) and significant training delivery experience; fluency in Arabic is an advantage for engagement and classroom delivery.

Qualifications

• Level 4 Qualification in Teaching & learning (incl. 90 hrs teaching practice).
• 5 years training delivery experience (outside QTTC) or 2 years within delivering Apprentice/Military/Type training or FE College.
• TAQA Qualified.
• Experience in training design following BSAT/DSAT model.
• Fluent spoken Arabic would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Deliver General Engineering training to QAF cadets within the QTI, primarily in the classroom and in practical areas.
• Assess learner performance in accordance with the assessment strategy in force for modules.
• Contribute to continual improvement of the QTI by identifying ideas and embracing suggestions.
