• TAQAQualified
• Fluent spoken Arabic would be an advantage

Responsibilities

• Deliver General Engineering training to QAF cadets within the QTI, predominantly in the classroom but also in practical training areas.
• Deliver modules using presentation media and training devices and assets; instructor must be proficient in all methods.
• Assess learner performance in accordance with the module assessment strategy; assessments may occur within or outside trade boundaries to allow independence.
• Contribute to the ongoing improvement of the QTI by proposing ideas and embracing suggestions from others.

Responsible for delivery of General EngineeringTraining to cadets within the BAE Systems Qatar Technical Institute in Doha,Qatar.

The Instructor/Assessor will deliver a range oftraining modules, across the General Engineering programme or within theirMechanical/ Electrical /Armament trade boundary . Thesuccessful delivery of the modules will contribute toward the learnersattainment of externally accredited qualifications.

The Instructor/Assessor will assess learnerperformance, in accordance with the assessment strategy in force for themodules. Assessment of learners may take place from within oroutside of their trade boundary, to allow for independence.

The Instructor/Assessor will actively contribute tothe continuing improvement of the QTI, through identification of ideas andembracing the suggestions of others.

Core Activity

• The roles will deliver training to QAF cadetswithin the QTI, predominantly within the classroom but also within thepractical training areas.
  
• The roles will utilize both presentation media andtraining devices and assets to deliver training and the instructor must beproficient in all methods.
  
• The roles will conduct assessment of the learners,predominantly through knowledge-based testing, in accordance with theassessment strategy in place.
  

Key Accountabilities:

• Responsible for the delivery of the GeneralEngineering programmes within the QTI ensuring training is delivered to planand quality.
  
• Responsible for support to the SpecialtyEngineering programme as required during periods of operational need.
  
• Establish and maintain effective links with localQAF Cadet Welfare teams to ensure their support is forthcoming to cadet welfareand discipline issues.
  
• Maintain and develop a customer focused approachthat delivers customer satisfaction.
  
• Ensure all SHE requirements are met in the trainingenvironment.
  
• Ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory andcorporate requirements.
  
• Where required to beprepared to assist in the development of the training courseware
