Job summary

BAE Systems Strategic Aerospace Services WLL is seeking an IT Instructor for Qatar Technical Institute. The role focuses on delivering the Information Technology curriculum to military students within the General Studies department, teaching MS Word, Excel, Email applications, and PowerPoint to a two-year diploma programme.

The candidate should plan engaging lessons aligned with MoEHE standards, foster inclusion, and maintain high academic rigor.

Qualifications

• Holds qualified teacher status or a relevant education and training qualification (e.g. PGCE, B.Ed., M.Ed., MA, BA, Diploma, or equivalent) in Information Technology, Computer Science, Educational Technology, Digital Skills Training, Education, or a related field.
• Relevant experience teaching Information Technology subjects to international students in a range of contexts.
• Knowledge and experience teaching Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Email Applications, Microsoft PowerPoint, and other essential digital literacy or office productivity applications.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality Information Technology instruction in accordance with QTI policies, procedures, and curriculum requirements.
• Support military students in achieving academic success and developing practical digital skills in MS Word, Excel, Email, and PowerPoint.
• Contribute to curriculum development, quality assurance, and continuous improvement initiatives within the General Studies department.
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and student-centred learning environment that promotes engagement and digital literacy.
