Job summary

Swan Global Holdings Group seeks a Junior Civil Engineer for Oil & Gas projects based in Ras Laffan Industrial City, Qatar. You will assist in supervising civil construction activities, review drawings and specifications, and ensure work meets project requirements and safety standards.

The role requires a Civil Engineering degree and at least 5 years of Oil & Gas experience. You will coordinate with project teams, monitor progress, maintain documentation, and support timely, quality completion

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of Oil & Gas project experience.
• Ability to read and interpret civil drawings and specs.
• Experience in site supervision, inspection, and safety compliance.

Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities

• Assist in supervising and monitoring civil construction activities at Oil & Gas project sites.
• Review civil drawings, technical specifications, and construction documents to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Monitor civil works, including excavation, concrete works, foundations, structural works, and other infrastructure activities.
• Coordinate with project engineers, supervisors, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure smooth execution of site activities.
• Conduct routine site inspections and verify that work is carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Monitor work progress and report any technical issues, delays, or deviations to the project team.
• Coordinate material requirements and support the planning and scheduling of civil construction activities.
• Ensure compliance with project quality requirements, HSE procedures, and site safety regulations.
• Maintain daily progress reports, inspection records, and other relevant project documentation.
• Support the resolution of site issues and ensure timely completion of assigned activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Oil & Gas projects.
• Experience in civil construction, site supervision, and inspection activities.
• Ability to read and interpret civil drawings, technical specifications, and construction documents.
• Knowledge of concrete works, foundations, excavation, and structural civil works.
• Familiarity with construction quality requirements and HSE standards.
• Good communication, coordination, and reporting skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a project-based site environment.
• Candidates with previous experience in Qatar Oil & Gas projects will be preferred.
