Job summary

Swan Global is seeking an experienced IT Manager / CTO in Doha to lead the technology function, strengthen cybersecurity and regulatory compliance, and drive digital transformation. You will oversee IT strategy, governance, and technology programs to support banking/fintech operations.

The role requires 10+ years of leadership experience, deep knowledge of cybersecurity, IT infrastructure, core systems, and data management, plus proven governance and risk management capabilities.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of IT leadership experience in banking/fintech or regulated institutions.
• Strong knowledge of Cybersecurity, IT Infrastructure, Core Systems, Data Management & Software Development.
• Experience with ISO 27001 / ISMS and QCB regulatory requirements.
• Proven governance, risk management, BCP/DR and technology project leadership.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute IT strategy aligned with business and regulatory requirements.
• Lead IT teams and oversee infrastructure, systems, cybersecurity, software, and data management.
• Ensure compliance with QCB technology and cybersecurity requirements.

• Drive automation, digital transformation, and data analytics initiatives.
• Provide strategic technology recommendations to senior management.

• Strong understanding of QCB requirements and ISO 27001 / ISMS.
• Proven experience in IT governance, risk management, BCP/DR, and technology projects.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
