Job summary

MCG Asia in Doha is looking for an experienced IT Project Manager to drive the delivery of critical technology initiatives within a fast-paced, regulated environment.

You will partner with technology, business, compliance and external vendors to ensure projects stay on time, within scope and aligned with strategic objectives in banking, insurance or fintech domains.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Business, or related field.
• 5-10+ years of IT project management experience within financial services (banking, insurance, fintech preferred).
• Proven experience delivering complex technology projects such as digital transformation, core systems, payments, or data platforms.
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid).

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of IT projects, from initiation through to implementation and post-go-live support
• Define project scope, timelines, resources, and budgets, ensuring alignment with business goals
• Manage stakeholder communication across business units, senior leadership, and external partners
• Identify risks, issues, and dependencies, and implement mitigation strategies proactively
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal governance frameworks
• Coordinate with development, infrastructure, and vendor teams to drive execution
• Track and report project progress, including KPIs, milestones, and financials
• Support change management and user adoption initiatives
