Job summary

Doha Bank is seeking an Investment Analyst to provide analytical and operational support for managing the bank's investment portfolio. You will analyze market opportunities, assess equity investments, and assist in due diligence of partners to strengthen the bank's strategic investment plans.

The role involves generating deal flow, supporting the Portfolio Manager Equity/Region, and preparing timely reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Banking, Finance, or Economics.
• Master’s degree adds advantage.
• CFA or equivalent qualification is useful.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and report on potential fund investment opportunities aligned with the bank's strategy.
• Support in maximizing returns from equity investments while ensuring acceptable risks.
• Assist in due diligence of partners and synergy opportunities to drive sales.
• Prepare periodic reports and maintain MIS pertaining to profitability and investment performance.
• Coordinate with Treasury/Settlement for deal settlements and confirmations; ensure compliance with controls.
