Job summary

ABB i Doha söker en erfaren serviceingenjör inom instrumentation som kan utföra servicearbete med medellåg till medelhög komplexitet enligt arbetsinstruktioner och ABB:s kvalitets- och säkerhetsstandarder. Du planerar och genomför arbetet hos kunder med första gången rätt-principen i fokus och visar engagemang för snabb och omsorgsfull felsökning.

Rollen är onsite i Qatar och rapporterar till försäljningschef instrumentation.

Qualifications

• Erfarenhet av service inom Instrumentationsprodukter.
• Examen/diplom i Instrumentation Engineering.
• 5+ års erfarenhet av servicearbete.
• God kunskap om ABB:s produktportfölj.
• God muntlig och skriftlig engelska kommunikationsförmåga.
• Förmåga att arbeta i ett multinationellt och mångkulturellt team globalt.

Responsibilities

• Utföra servicearbete med låg till medelhög komplexitet enligt arbetsinstruktioner och ABB:s standardprocesser.
• Planera och genomföra arbete hos kunder med 'första gången rätt'-tillvägagångssätt.
• Visa tydlig förståelse för brådska och omtanke inom eget ansvarsområde.
• Onsite-arbete med kunder för att identifiera möjligheter att förbättra deras drift.
• Utföra fältserviceuppgifter, felsöka utrustning och föreslå åtgärder för framtiden.
• Förbereda materiallistor och säkerställa tillgång till rätt delar och utrustning.

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to execute service work with low to medium complexity as per work instructions and in accordance with ABB standard processes, quality standards, and safety guidelines. Each day, you will plan and execute work on a first-time right approach with customers. You will also showcase your expertise by displaying a clear understanding of sense of urgency and care in your own area of responsibility.

The work model for the role is: Onsite

This role is contributing to the Process Automation in Qatar.

• Working with the customer (while on-site) to identify opportunities to improve the customer’s operations and eliminate pain points.
• Performing field service tasks, identifying technical issues, and performing analysis through remote or on-site activity in service categories and products.
• Preparing material lists needed for service activity and ensuring that all materials, parts, and equipment are available and of appropriate quality for service activities.
• Troubleshooting equipment/process failures, requesting proactive corrective actions, and making recommendations to avoid such issues in the future.

Qualifications for the role

• Experience in Instrumentation products service.
• Degree / Diploma in Instrumentation Engineering
• 5+ years of experience in service
• Good knowledge & understanding of ABB
  Product portfolio.
• Good verbal and written English communication
  skills.
• Ability to work with multinational and multi-cultural
  team based globally
