Job summary
North Oil Company is seeking a senior ICSS Control & Safety Systems Engineer for an onshore Doha role with regular offshore visits. You will deliver technical maintenance, engineering support, and safe operation of ICSS systems, coordinating with offshore teams and vendor partners to uphold safety and reliability.
The role requires a Bachelor’s in Control & Instrumentation Engineering and at least seven years in oil & gas, with expertise in Yokogawa and Siemens platforms.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Control & Instrumentation Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 7 years’ experience in Oil & Gas in a similar role or oil & gas automation firm.
- Strong knowledge of offshore plant/equipment and ICSS concepts.
- Experience with Yokogawa and Siemens control systems.
- Willingness to travel offshore and collaborate in a multi‑cultural environment.
Responsibilities
- Ensure highest safety and technical support for Control and Safety systems.
- Provide maintenance, procedures, and technical support for the discipline.
- Support offshore team, Operations Center, Maintenance, and Shutdown/Campaign entities.
- Technical administration of spare parts for Control and Safety systems.
- Coordinate with Tier 2 Maintenance Coordinator and offshore stakeholders.
