Job summary

Airswift is seeking a Senior Control System Engineer for Qatar to provide technical leadership across EPC, commissioning, start-up and handover of major oil & gas projects. You will ensure control systems are designed, tested and handed over with safety, reliability and cybersecurity in mind, coordinating with Project Management, Operations, engineers, contractors and vendors.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent.
Minimum 6 years of Oil & Gas experience.
Experience supporting EPC projects, commissioning, start-up and handover.
Experience with industrial control systems, automation, and process control environments.

Responsibilities

Provide specialist control engineering during EPC, commissioning, start-up and handover.
Participate in design reviews and recommend improvements for operational excellence.
Support commissioning and start-up activities including troubleshooting, validation and readiness assessments.
Conduct failure investigations, root cause analysis and technical issue resolution.
Support MOC activities related to control systems and automation assets.
Develop surveillance programs for critical control systems and ensure cybersecurity.
