Job summary

International School of London Qatar is seeking a passionate Visual Arts educator to deliver IB MYP and DP Visual Arts across Middle and High School. The role focuses on inquiry-based learning, portfolio development and exhibition preparation, guiding students to creative inquiry and technical proficiency.

Working with colleagues, you will integrate the IB frameworks, assess student progress, and nurture cultural awareness through diverse media, digital practices and international perspectives,

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Visual Arts and recognised teaching qualification.
Experience teaching Visual Arts in Middle and/or High School.
Experience with IB MYP and DP Visual Arts frameworks and assessment.
Proficiency in a range of traditional and contemporary art media.

Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging Visual Arts lessons across MYP/DP.
Develop creativity, critical thinking and technical skills.
Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs.
Support portfolio development and exhibition preparation.
Collaborate with IB coordinators and staff for curriculum planning.
Provide formative and summative feedback aligned with IB criteria.
