Job summary

Madre Integrated Engineering in Qatar is seeking a full-time Safety Inspector to oversee on-site safety practices across projects. You will identify hazards, ensure permits to work, and enforce PPE standards while supporting incident investigations and toolbox talks.

Applicants should hold a Diploma or degree in Occupational Health and Safety or a related field, with experience in oil and gas or industrial environments. NEBOSH IGC is preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
• Relevant safety inspection experience; oil and gas or industrial project experience preferred.
• NEBOSH IGC or equivalent HSE certification preferred.
• Knowledge of risk assessments, permit-to-work systems, and emergency procedures.
• Strong observation, reporting, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Inspect work sites, equipment, and activities to identify safety hazards and unsafe practices.
• Monitor compliance with site HSE procedures, permit-to-work requirements, and PPE standards.
• Check high-risk activities, including lifting, work at height, and confined-space entry.
• Report safety observations and follow up on corrective actions.
• Support incident investigations, toolbox talks, and safety inspections.
• Maintain inspection records and prepare safety reports.
