Madre Integrated Engineering is seeking an Offshore Electrical/Instrumentation Inspector in Qatar. The role focuses on inspections, compliance with project specs, QCS and IEC/IEEE standards, and enforcement of offshore HSE requirements.

You will verify materials, witness pre-commissioning, and ensure proper permits are in place. Requirements include a Bachelor's or Diploma in Electrical/Instrumentation Engineering, 5–7 years offshore inspection experience, and OPITO-certified training

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering.
• Minimum 5–7 years offshore inspection experience in oil & gas projects.
• BOSIET / HUET (OPITO certified).
• Basic H2S Training.
• Offshore Medical Fitness.

Aufgaben

• Conduct inspections of electrical and instrumentation installations, ensuring compliance with project specifications, QCS, and international standards (IEC/IEEE).
• Verify materials, equipment, and workmanship against approved drawings and procedures.
• Enforce offshore HSE requirements, including PTW systems, confined space entry, and electrical isolation procedures.
• Prepare inspection reports, maintain calibration records, and issue NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports) when required.
• Liaise with construction teams, QA/QC, and client representatives during inspections and approvals.
• Witness and verify pre-commissioning and commissioning activities for electrical and instrumentation systems.
• Ensure all electrical and instrumentation work is executed under valid permits.
• Confirm calibration of instruments and maintain traceability records.
• Identify hazards in electrical/instrumentation work and recommend corrective actions.
• Suggest improvements in inspection practices and safety culture.
