Gulf Contracting Co. is seeking an experienced HSE professional in Qatar to lead hazard identification, risk assessment, and JSA activities across projects.

The role focuses on implementing robust safety systems, incident investigations, and work permit procedures to ensure compliance with regulations and company policies. The ideal candidate will hold a NEBOSH IGC certificate, have 5–9 years in HSE with at least 2 years on brownfield projects, and possess strong knowledge of health and safety

Qualifications

• 5–9 years of experience in Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)
• NEBOSH IGC certification is required; Diploma/Certificate holder preferred
• Strong knowledge of HSE principles, industrial safety regulations, and occupational health standards

Responsabilités

• Conduct Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment, and Job Safety Analysis (JSAs) to identify potential hazards and mitigate risks.
• Develop and implement effective safety management systems, including incident investigation procedures and work permit systems.
• Ensure compliance with industrial safety regulations, occupational health standards, and company policies through regular site inspections and audits.
• Collaborate with project teams to develop risk assessments for new projects or changes in existing operations.
• Provide training on HSE best practices to employees at all levels within the organization.
