Job summary

Tanqeeb is seeking a General Accountant to join the Finance & Accounting team in Lusail, Qatar. You will maintain general ledger accounts, perform reconciliations, and support month-end close while ensuring adherence to organizational policies and accounting standards.

The role requires 2–4 years of accounting experience, strong Excel skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic hotel environment. On-site role in Lusail with opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a hotel environment.
• Strong knowledge of general accounting principles and financial reporting standards.

Responsibilities

• Maintain up-to-date general ledger accounts with attention to detail.
• Record and verify daily financial transactions and journal entries.
• Perform monthly reconciliations of bank, balance sheet, and general ledger accounts.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures and support the finance team.
• Prepare schedules for balance sheet accounts and assist with internal audits.
