Job summary

Qualifications

• Ability to handle high volume with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Follow and understand Kempinski Policies & Procedures.
• Behave professionally and harmoniously; follow Kempinski code of conduct.
• Perform spot checks of the receiving of goods and verify accuracy of deliveries.
• Perform spot checks in the culinary area and verify yielding and wastage.
• Verify that food recipes are accurate and have updated cost and sale prices, as well as compliance during preparation.
• Spot checks in Housekeeping, Laundry and Stewarding areas and verify use of materials in regards to dosage and proper use.
• Spot checks in the bars and verify recipes and portion standards are followed.
• Randomly auditing the market list and use of seasonal items.
• Auditing inventory movements to ensure proper recording.
• Documenting and filing all findings and recommendations.
• Perform random inventories and verify accuracy versus perpetual inventory and stock levels.
• Creating and distributing monthly cost reports.
• Perform any additional duties assigned by Management and assisting in other areas of Accounting as needed.
• Communicate discrepancies in invoices or other potential problems.
