Job summary

Client of Alliance Recruitment Agency seeks an experienced Head of Procurement for a major hospital. You will lead purchasing of medical supplies, pharmaceuticals and equipment, develop sourcing strategies, manage tenders and contract negotiations, and ensure cost-effective procurement aligned with budgets and regulatory requirements.

Collaborate with clinical, pharmacy and finance teams to forecast demand, monitor supplier performance and drive continuous cost savings while maintaining product

Qualifications

• Must have degree in supply chain, procurement or healthcare-adjacent field.
• Master's degree preferred; healthcare procurement experience is a plus.
• Minimum 8–10 years in purchasing or procurement with leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead hospital purchasing and procurement operations for supplies and equipment.
• Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with budgets.
• Identify, evaluate, negotiate with suppliers and maintain relationships.
• Manage tenders, quotations, and contract negotiations.
• Forecast demand and coordinate with clinical, pharmacy and finance teams.
• Monitor supplier performance, delivery, quality and pricing.
• Drive cost-saving initiatives without compromising patient care.
