NES Fircroft is seeking an experienced Head of Lifting (MP Offshore) for a major LNG project in Qatar. The role acts as the focal point for lifting discipline assurance, compliance, safety leadership, and project support across offshore installations. Location: Qatar Offshore.

Contract: 3 years (initial). Work pattern: 100% offshore with a 28/28 rotation. The candidate will lead lifting operations, ensure inspections and certifications meet API/ASME/LOLER standards, and coordinate with

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Sciences.
• OPITO - LOLER Competent Person Certification.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in large Oil & Gas construction/projects environment.
• Strong experience in lifting equipment inspections, certifications, and compliance management.
• Knowledge of API, ASME, BS, DNV, ISO, and LOLER standards.
• Previous experience as Lifting SME, Technical Authority, or similar leadership role preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Job description

Hiring: Head of Lifting | Qatar Offshore

We are currently seeking an experienced Head of Lifting (MP Offshore) to join a major LNG project in Qatar. This is a leadership opportunity for professionals with extensive offshore lifting operations experience within large-scale Oil & Gas projects. Based on the job description in, the role will act as the focal point for lifting discipline assurance, compliance, safety leadership, and project support across multiple offshore projects.

Location & Contract Details

Location: Qatar Offshore

Contract: 3 Years (Initial Contract)

Work Pattern: 100% Offshore

Rotation: 28 Days ON / 28 Days OFF

Schedule: 7 Days per Week

Key Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Sciences
• OPITO - LOLER Competent Person Certification
• Minimum 10 years of experience in large Oil & Gas construction/projects environment
• Strong experience in lifting equipment inspections, certifications, and compliance management
• Knowledge of API, ASME, BS, DNV, ISO, and LOLER standards
• Previous experience as Lifting SME, Technical Authority, or similar leadership role preferred
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
