Job summary

Mekdam Technical Services is seeking an experienced Senior Piping Engineer for oil & gas projects in Doha. You will lead piping design initiatives, ensure compliance with standards, and oversee construction support from design through handover.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering with about a decade of engineering experience, including several years in oil & gas and supervisory roles, and hands-on cryogenic piping experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Ten (10) years of engineering experience, with six in Oil & Gas.
• Two years in supervisory or contractor oversight.
• Senior piping engineer with knowledge of design standards, specs, codes, safety criteria, onshore LNG facilities.
• Experience with oil & gas companies, EPC contractors, subcontractors, vendors, or service companies.

Qualifications*

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Knowledge and/or Experience*

Ten (10) years' experience in Engineering roles, including six (6) years in the Oil & Gas Industry, and including two (2) years' experience in a supervisory or acting role, or oversight of contractor/sub-contractors/service/vendor personnel.
Experience as Senior Piping Engineer at a supervisory level with a broad knowledge of engineering execution including design standards, specifications, codes, safety criteria, onshore LNG facilities design, construction and operations.
Experience with cryogenic piping systems design.
Extensive experience with Oil & Gas Companies, EPC Contractors, Subcontractors, Vendors, or service companies involved in the Oil and Gas industry.
Experienced and competent in managing across all phases of project execution including start up and handover and managing technical issues.
