Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering required.
• Minimum 10 years of engineering and project execution exp on major projects.
• At least 6 years in Oil & Gas industry.
• Minimum 2 years in supervisory/leadership role.
• Extensive brownfield engineering and offshore modification exp.
• Strong knowledge of SIMOPS, shutdowns, tie-ins, constructability, field verification, offshore standards.
• Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, SP3D, Navisworks, and PM systems.
• Excellent communication, leadership, coordination, and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary engineering activities for brownfield modifications and offshore facility integration.
• Provide engineering leadership, governance, and technical assurance throughout project execution.

• Monitor engineering progress, risks, interfaces, and mitigation plans to protect milestones.
• Promote standardization, lessons learned, value improvement, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Hiring: Head of Engineering (Brownfield)

Location: Qatar (100% Onshore)

Contract Type: Long-Term Contract

Work Schedule: 6 Days per Week

Rotation: 12 Weeks ON / 2 Weeks OFF

Project: Major Offshore Oil & Gas Brownfield Development Project

We are seeking an experienced Head of Engineering (Brownfield) to lead and govern multidisciplinary engineering activities associated with brownfield modifications, upgrades, tie-ins, and integration with existing offshore facilities. • Strong knowledge of SIMOPS, shutdowns, tie-ins, constructability, field verification, and offshore engineering standards.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, SP3D, Navisworks, and project management systems.
• Excellent communication, leadership, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
