Job summary

Brunel is seeking a Senior Brownfield Engineer to lead multidisciplinary offshore modification projects in Qatar. You will ensure safe integration with existing facilities, provide governance, and manage interfaces across Engineering, Operations, Construction and Commissioning.

You will oversee site surveys, field verifications, and constructability assessments, ensuring designs comply with standards and safety requirements. Strong leadership and offshore experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required.
• 10 years' experience in Engineering roles and project execution for Major Projects.
• 6 years in Oil & Gas industry with 2 years supervisory experience.
• Experience in multidisciplinary Brownfield engineering and offshore modifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary engineering activities for Brownfield modifications and offshore integration.
• Provide engineering governance and assurance to ensure designs meet codes, standards, and safety criteria.
• Manage interfaces between Engineering, Operations, Construction, Installation and Commissioning.
• Oversee surveys, studies and field verification to establish facility conditions for Brownfield work.
• Coordinate contractor and vendor engineering activities to meet quality and schedule objectives.
• Lead resolution of technical issues and field changes within the project change process.

Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary engineering activities for Brownfield modifications upgrades tie-ins and integration with existing offshore facilities across all phases of project execution Provide engineering leadership governance and technical assurance to ensure Brownfield designs comply with Company requirements project specifications applicable codes and standards safety requirements and existing facility constraints Manage multidisciplinary engineering interfaces and coordination between Engineering Operations Construction Installation and Commissioning to ensure safe and effective integration of Brownfield scope with existing facilities Ensure appropriate site surveys engineering studies and field verification are undertaken to establish existing facility conditions and provide a reliable basis for Brownfield design and execution Coordinate and oversee Contractor subcontractor and vendor engineering activities to ensure Brownfield deliverables meet technical quality schedule and project execution requirements Lead resolution of multidisciplinary technical issues engineering queries deviations and field changes and ensure Brownfield modifications are managed in accordance with the project change management process Monitor engineering progress interfaces and risks and ensure mitigation or recovery measures are developed to protect critical project procurement construction installation and shutdown milestones Promote application of lessons learned standardization value improvement and continuous improvement across Brownfield engineering activities

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering in a relevant discipline, such as Mechanical, Piping, Electrical, etc.10 years' experience in Engineering roles and project execution for Major Projects including extensive involvement in Construction, installation, fabrication, execution, completion, hook-up, etc., including 6 years in the Oil & Gas Industry and including 2 years of experience in a supervisory role, including acting roles, or oversight of service/vendor personnel.Extensive experience in multidisciplinary Brownfield engineering and modifications to existing offshore Oil & Gas facilities.Demonstrated experience managing engineering interfaces between existing facilities and new project scope.Broad knowledge of engineering design standards, specifications, codes and safety criteria applicable to offshore facilities and Brownfield modifications.Experience in site surveys, field verification, constructability, SIMOPS, shutdowns, tie-ins, isolation requirements and integration of new and existing systems.Proficient in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, SP3D, Navisworks, and experience of project management systems.
