Job summary

IHG Hotels & Resorts in Doha, Qatar is seeking an experienced kitchen leader to manage daily kitchen operations and supervise a team of chefs. You will plan staffing, coach team members, and ensure high standards of food quality and hygiene while coordinating with other departments to deliver memorable guest experiences.

The role requires a culinary arts degree, 3 years as a chef, and at least 1 year in a supervisory position, with fluency in local languages.

Qualifications

• Degree or certificate in culinary arts.
• 3 years’ experience as a chef.
• Must speak local language(s).
• At least one year in a supervisory capacity, or equivalent combination of education and culinary/kitchen operations experience.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily kitchen activities and plan staffing to ensure adequate coverage.
• Develop your team through coaching and set performance goals.
• Recommend or initiate HR actions when needed.
• Coordinate with other departments to meet kitchen needs and ensure timely responses to requests.
• Maintain hygienic conditions and safe storage of food and beverages.
