Qualifications

Good luxury experience in the hotel industry in the Middle East; Qatar experience is an advantage.
Ability to perform well in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
Excellent organizational skills to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
In-depth knowledge of all kitchen sections to manage operations efficiently.
Strong leadership to manage and motivate a kitchen team.
Solid financial acumen, including budget management.
Creativity and superior culinary skills for menu development.
Computer literacy, including POS systems and MS Office.

Responsibilities

Ensure kitchen staff adhere to quality, hygiene, and cleanliness standards.
Stay updated with culinary trends and kitchen processes.
Manage suppliers to secure quality goods at affordable prices.
Oversee inventory and stock ordering as needed.
Maintain kitchen equipment and organize repairs when needed.
Handle staff issues, such as sick leave and attendance, and take disciplinary actions when necessary.
Develop new dishes and overhaul menus to attract more clientele.
Ensure guests receive excellent service and a great dining experience.
