Job summary

ENNISMORE in Doha is seeking a dynamic Chef de Cuisine to lead our fine dining kitchen. You will oversee menus, staff, and culinary standards, driving exceptional guest experiences through meticulous quality and creative execution.

The role requires strong leadership, extensive HACCP knowledge, and proven ability to manage costs and operations in a high-end setting. A passion for wine pairing and international cuisine is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of Head Chef experience in fine dining or upscale settings.
• Proven leadership and team development abilities.
• Strong cost control and waste management experience.
• Solid knowledge of food safety regulations and HACCP principles.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Wine pairing/beverage knowledge is a plus.
• Experience in high-volume luxury hospitality environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute innovative menus showcasing signature offerings with seasonal variety.
• Oversee all kitchen operations ensuring consistent quality and presentation.
• Lead, mentor, and manage the kitchen team with effective training.
• Maintain strict food safety and hygiene compliance.
• Manage food costs, inventory, and vendor relationships.
• Collaborate with front-of-house to ensure seamless service.
• Conduct regular quality checks on all dishes pre-service.
• Plan kitchen workflows to maximize peak-service efficiency.
• Stay updated with culinary trends and techniques for the steakhouse concept.
• Coordinate maintenance and upgrades of kitchen equipment.
