Job summary

Demoura Lawson Consulting in Qatar seeks an experienced Health, Safety & Environment Manager (HSEM) to lead HSE for a large government O&M contract across sewage treatment plants, pumping stations and wastewater networks, with 1,000+ employees at multiple sites.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field, 20+ years of experience in senior HSE management, and strong ISO 45001, risk assessment, incident investigation, audits, and contractor HSE leadership.

Qualifications

Essential Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, or another relevant technical discipline.
20+ years of professional experience with at least 10 years in a senior HSE role.
Proven ability to lead large, multi-site HSE teams across wastewater infrastructures.

Responsibilities

Lead HSE across multiple sites, workshops, and field teams.
Develop and improve ISO 45001 and environmental management processes.
Ensure compliance with client, contractual, statutory, and international HSE requirements.
Oversee risk assessments and control measures across operations.
Lead incident investigations, corrective actions and continuous improvement.
Conduct audits, inspections and performance reviews.
Develop and deliver HSE training and emergency exercises.
Prepare HSE reports, KPIs, and client presentations.
