Job summary

voco Doha Central invites a friendly Host/Hostess to be the first contact for guests, welcoming them with warmth and professionalism while guiding them to an exceptional dining experience in a vibrant, pre-opening hotel. You will manage reservations, greet guests at the entrance and desk, present menus, coordinate with service and kitchen teams, and ensure a seamless arrival.

Fluency in English and a welcoming personality are essential to help guests feel at home.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Host/Hostess or guest-facing hospitality role.
• High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality qualification is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a welcoming personality.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and engage guests with warmth, professionalism, and exceptional hospitality.
• Manage reservations, waiting lists, table assignments, and guest records accurately.
• Escort guests, present menus, and ensure a seamless arrival experience.
• Coordinate with service and kitchen teams to support smooth restaurant operations.
• Respond to guest requests, inquiries, and feedback with care and timely solutions.
• Maintain restaurant entrance, host desk, and dining areas according to cleanliness and presentation standards.
• Maintain strong menu knowledge and support guest engagement through promotions and personalized service.
• Ensure professional grooming, uniform standards, and compliance with hotel policies.
