Job summary

Rosewood Hotels and Resorts Doha seeks an attentive housekeeping associate to maintain high standards in guest rooms and public areas. You will clean, stock, and prepare rooms, ensuring safety and privacy for guests while following brand guidelines and security procedures.

The role emphasizes teamwork, discretion, and consistent service quality, with responsibilities ranging from cleaning duties to reporting maintenance needs and assisting new team members.

Responsibilities

• Clean chairs, sofas and carpets in guests bedrooms and all public areas.
• Remove chewing gum, candle wax, wine and coffee stains.
• Maintain standards daily following LQA Forbes and Brand standards.
• Work with associates in a supportive, flexible manner focusing on guest satisfaction.
• Contribute to a unique guest experience and a sense of place.
• Support new housekeeping team members.
• Handle guest concerns and provide resolutions.
• Report for work with neat appearance.
• Collect key cards and Duty Phone from Housekeeping office at start.
• Collect equipment and ensure you have the correct tools for the job.
• Keep noise to a minimum on floors when guests are sleeping.
• Return rooms to daytime setup after cleaning.
• Do not enter Do Not Disturb rooms.
• Report sleep-outs, extra departures, or rooms not requiring service.
• Clean following Rosewood standards.
• Trolleys kept neat and tidy throughout the day.
• Ensure public areas and corridors are immaculate.
• Make up extra beds and baby cots as required.
• Handle guest laundry and report to housekeeping.
• Stock and remove private dining trays from guestrooms and corridors.
• Clean and empty vacuum cleaners and tidy store cupboards at end of day.
• Restock trolleys before end of shift.
• Remain on floor until Floor Housekeeper signs off.
• Return lists, key cards and Duty Phone to housekeeping at shift end.
• Turn lost and found items to Security and follow property procedures.
• Obtain guest authorization before removing gifts and security clearance.
• Ensure safety of guest property and report suspicious activity.
• Report any loss of key cards or Duty Phones immediately.
• Report security matters to Security.
• Maintain and report equipment malfunctions and depot issues.
• Be responsible for doors remaining closed when servicing guestrooms.
• Advise guests to use their keycard and seek assistance if faulty.
• Ensure guest property safety and report suspicious persons.
