Job summary

Baker Hughes is seeking a Field Service Engineer - Heavy-Duty Gas Turbine to join our Industrial and Energy Technology team. The role focuses on on-site maintenance, installation, and commissioning of HDGT equipment across sites worldwide.

Ideal candidates hold a Mechanical Engineering degree or diploma, with 8+ years in Oil & Gas field activities, and strong TPS product knowledge. On-site work with flexible project scheduling is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a Full-time Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• 8+ years of Oil & Gas maintenance or installation field activity experience.
• Knowledge of rotating equipment, installation, commissioning, startup and maintenance of Heavy-Duty Gas Turbines (Frame 5/2, Frame 3, Frame 6B, Frame 7FA) and their auxiliaries.
• Specialization in Heavy Duty Gas Turbine products.
• TPS product line training as required.
• Experience across more than one TPS rotating equipment product.

Responsibilities

• Performing minor/major maintenance of equipment following TPS Service Site Quality Check Lists and procedures.
• Provide records of all activities at the Customer Site to the TPS Supervisor.
• Execute all required responsibilities safely by following TPS Service processes and procedures.
• Provide significant troubleshooting support on equipment under maintenance and/or installation in the field.
