Baker Hughes Gruppe is looking for a Field Service Engineer specializing in Mechanical Heavy‑Duty Gas Turbines. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering and over 7 years of relevant experience in Oil & Gas, Power, or Refinery sectors.

Key responsibilities include mechanical inspections, maintenance planning, and supporting operational staff. The role also requires strong collaboration skills and a customer-centric approach.

Qualifications

• More than 7 years of relevant experience in Oil & Gas / Power / Refinery / Turbomachinery industries.
• Able to perform major inspections and overhauls on HDGT – FR 5/2, FR6B, FR 7E, and/or FR 9E.

Responsibilities

• Handle mechanical inspection for heavy‑duty gas turbines.
• Plan and prepare maintenance schedules with customers.
• Lead discussions for the planning and implementation of mechanical-related projects.
• Maintain documented history of all mechanical modifications.
• Support end-user operation & maintenance staff.
• Perform checks of foundation, equipment, and alignment.
• Handle new-unit erection and commissioning.
