Job summary

Client of Premium Solutions Consultancy is seeking a seasoned GIS professional to engage with customers, translate requirements into GIS architectures, and provide technical pre-sales support. You will design comprehensive GIS solutions spanning enterprise, web, and mobile environments, and lead demonstrations, PoCs, and technical workshops.

Ideal candidates have 3–8 years in GIS consulting or solution architecture, with hands-on ArcGIS/QGIS experience and fluency in Arabic and English.

Qualifications

• > Bachelor’s degree in GIS, Geography, Geomatics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• > 3–8 years of experience in GIS consulting, solution architecture, implementation, or technical pre-sales.
• > Strong knowledge of GIS concepts, spatial databases, mapping technologies, and spatial analysis.
• > Hands-on experience with enterprise GIS platforms such as ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, QGIS, or similar platforms.
• > Experience in preparing technical proposals and delivering customer-facing presentations.
• > Strong communication, presentation, consulting, and stakeholder management skills.
• > Experience in solution design, technical demonstrations, and customer engagement is highly preferred.
• > Fluent Arabic and English is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• > Engage with customers to understand business requirements, operational challenges, and GIS objectives.
• > Translate customer requirements into GIS solution concepts and architectures.
• > Provide technical consultation throughout the pre-sales cycle.
• > Design GIS solutions covering enterprise GIS, web GIS, mobile GIS, spatial analytics, and location intelligence.
• > Prepare solution architectures, workflows, technical concepts, and implementation approaches.
• > Recommend appropriate GIS products, tools, integrations, and technologies.
• > Develop and deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations, workshops, and PoCs.
• > Support technical evaluations and customer discovery sessions; prepare technical proposals, RFP/RFQ responses, and Statements of Work.
• > Define technical scope, assumptions, methodologies, and estimated effort.
• > Collaborate with sales, project management, delivery teams, developers, consultants, and technology partners.
• > Stay updated on GIS technologies, industry trends, and competitive solutions.
• > Identify GIS-driven opportunities for digital transformation across sectors.

Job description

Key Responsibilities

• Engage with customers to understand business requirements operational challenges and GIS objectives
