Four Seasons Hotel Doha seeks a Maintenance Engineer to provide expert electrical, plumbing, HVAC and general maintenance across the property. You will perform repairs, preventive work, and installations while upholding Four Seasons standards and safety obligations.

The role requires strong communication, professional presentation, and English proficiency to serve guests and collaborate with departments. On-site work with housing and benefits offered.

Responsibilities

Provide service and repairs across electrical, plumbing, steam, gas, fire and safety, HVAC, refrigeration, interior, painting and decorating tasks.
Lubricate machinery and equipment regularly to ensure proper operation.
Perform machinist work on varied equipment and replace bearings, gears, belts, shafts and related parts.
Maintain a clean, safe work area and positive relationships across departments.
Respond to emergencies and guest complaints promptly and professionally.
Repair and re-lamp lamps, install wiring for renovations and new outlets.
Conduct preventive maintenance and keep logs up to date.
Support with repairs from other departments as needed.

Job Description:

Provide service and repairs in accordance with the Technical Skills List and applicable grade level, covering electrical, plumbing, steam, gas, fire and safety, HVAC, refrigeration, interior, painting, and decorating requirements.
Lubricate machinery and equipment regularly to ensure proper operation and longevity.
Perform machinist work on a variety of equipment, including the replacement and repair of bearings, gears, belts, shafts, control mechanisms, and related components.
Conduct oneself in a professional manner at all times, reflecting the high standards and values of Four Seasons Hotels.
Maintain a clean, neat, organized, and safe work area at all times.
Maintain positive and effective working relationships with colleagues across all departments.
Immediately report and appropriately respond to any accident or incident, regardless of severity.
Respond promptly and appropriately to all hotel emergency and safety situations.
Perform additional tasks and projects as assigned by Hotel Management and Engineering leadership.
Maintain, repair, and re-lamp all lamps throughout the hotel, including socket repair and replacement.
Install electrical wiring for renovations, additional electrical outlets, motors, and associated equipment.
Conduct preventive maintenance on all electrical equipment and ensure that all relevant logs and records are accurately maintained.
Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout all Engineering stations and work areas.
Adjust, troubleshoot, and clean televisions as required.
Respond promptly and professionally to all guest complaints relating to the maintenance of guest rooms and public areas.
Perform scheduled preventive maintenance in guest rooms and public areas to ensure all facilities and equipment remain in optimal condition.
Assist with resolving plumbing stoppages and related plumbing issues throughout the building.
Repair and restore a variety of items brought to the Engineering workshop by other departments.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

This position requires an applicant with general food knowledge. Candidates must have good personal presentation and interpersonal skills.
The ability to perform this position to Four Seasons Standards is required.
The ideal candidate will have an outgoing personality and a can-do approach to any task!
Requires reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language.
