voco Doha Central, a pre-opening hotel in central Doha, seeks a Host/Hostess to welcome guests and assist with reservations and dining experiences. You will guide guests from arrival to seating, ensuring warm, professional service and a seamless guest journey.

The role emphasizes strong English communication, teamwork with service and kitchen staff, and a polished, guest-centric approach in a luxury hotel setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in guest-facing hospitality roles, preferably in hotels or restaurants.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a welcoming personality.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and engage guests with warmth, professionalism, and exceptional hospitality.
• Manage reservations, waiting lists, table assignments, and guest records accurately.
• Escort guests, present menus, and ensure a seamless arrival experience.
• Coordinate with service and kitchen teams to support smooth restaurant operations.
• Respond to guest requests, inquiries, and feedback with care and timely solutions.
• Maintain restaurant entrance, host desk, and dining areas according to cleanliness and presentation standards.
• Maintain strong menu knowledge and support guest engagement through promotions and personalized service.
