Job summary

Westin Hotels & Resorts in Doha is seeking a full-time, non-management team member for our Salwa Road location. You will help ensure exceptional guest service, supervise and coach staff as needed, and support opening, closing, and safety procedures.

This role emphasizes teamwork, professional grooming, adherence to brand standards, and a commitment to guest wellbeing. Previous hotel experience and a high school diploma are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 2 years of related work experience preferred.
• Supervisory experience preferred (1 year).

Responsibilities

• Ensure staff work together to provide optimum service and meet guest needs.
• Inspect grooming and attire of staff; rectify any deficiencies.
• Complete opening and closing duties including setup of supplies and tools; clean equipment and areas; lock doors.
• Monitor dining rooms for seating, service, safety, and guest wellbeing; complete maintenance work orders as needed.
• Assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, and motivating employees; uphold Open Door Policy.
